Potential details on Triple H leaving WWE soon

Triple H may be nearing the end of his time in WWE sooner than anyone expected—at least according to former WWE employee Jonathan Coachman.

Speaking on the Two Man Power Trip podcast, Coachman revealed that there’s an intense power struggle unfolding behind the scenes at TKO. According to him, it’s not just rumors—he’s spoken to multiple people close to the situation, and the friction is real.

He went on to say that the tension has reached a tipping point. Coachman, along with his co-hosts from Behind The Turnbuckle—including former WWE head writer Vince Russo—has even predicted that Triple H could be out of power within the next year and a half.

“I’ve talked to two people with direct knowledge of what’s going on. I can’t name them, but the intel is solid. Based on what I know, and everything I just laid out, we predicted on our show that Triple H won’t be running WWE 18 months from now.”

If Coachman’s claims are true, the internal politics at WWE and TKO may soon shift dramatically—and the era of Triple H’s creative reign could be closer to its final chapter than fans realise.

There are issues between The Rock and Triple H

Coachman began by breaking down the power structure of the TKO board, which he says speaks volumes. While The Rock—Dwayne Johnson—recently secured a seat on the board and reportedly pocketed between $30 and $45 million last year, Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s name is notably absent. This could be another indication that Triple H could be leaving WWE.

“On the financial report, Ari Emanuel is clearly the top guy. He runs multiple companies. Then there’s another executive, followed by Vince McMahon—who, by the way, still owns the third-most stock. Further down the list is Dwayne Johnson. Then there’s Nick Khan, the WWE president. But Triple H? Not even listed.” (H/t: tjrwrestling)

Coachman also dropped a major bombshell: from his own experience in WWE, and his personal connection to The Rock, he claims the two—Johnson and Levesque—have a long history of tension.

“They’ve never really gotten along. It’s been years of butting heads for a variety of reasons. And that hasn’t changed.”

What it could mean for WWE’s future

Triple H’s run as the Chief Content Officer was seen as a welcome change initially. However, he has been criticized for his booking decisions lately and accused of being repetitive and not listening to the fans.

If The Game leaves the company, fans fear that he might be replaced by another TKO executive as the head of creative which could lead the product to go downhill.
