Raj Dhesi fka Jinder Mahal Shares Heartwarming News

Raj Dhesi, formerly known to WWE fans as Jinder Mahal, has been keeping busy since his exit from the company — and not just inside the wrestling ring. The former WWE Champion recently took to Instagram to share some major personal news: he’s getting married.

Dhesi posted a series of photos alongside his fiancée, Priya, revealing their wedding plans with the caption, “Off to tie the knot! #ourbigfatdhesiwedding.” The couple appeared glowing in the snaps, capturing a moment of joy ahead of their big day.

This isn’t the first time Dhesi has teased his wedding on social media. Back in late May, he posted that the ceremony was just a month away. Since then, he’s shared glimpses of a stunning pre-wedding photoshoot featuring the couple dressed in both traditional Indian wear and timeless Western outfits.

Will Raj Dhesi/Jinder Mahal join AEW?

Raj Dhesi, formerly known as Jinder Mahal in WWE, has opened up about his current status as a free agent and whether All Elite Wrestling has shown interest in bringing him in.

Speaking at For The Love of Wrestling with Monopoly Events’ Jamal Niaz, Dhesi revealed that while he’s received plenty of fan speculation about a potential AEW run, no official outreach has been made by the company.

> “AEW? Not at an official level. Nobody has on a really official level,” Dhesi said. “Right now, I’m just enjoying myself. I was under contract for so many years, and honestly, I wish we had this current WWE schedule back then — less emphasis on live events. We were worked pretty heavily.”

Since his WWE release in April 2024, Dhesi has kept busy with appearances across the independent scene, including a notable showing in GCW. While he hasn’t signed with another major promotion just yet, he seems to be enjoying the freedom that comes with stepping away from the grind of WWE’s full-time schedule.
